A wide range of learning opportunities are offered though Christian oriented experiences. Unit themes acquaint the children with God's plan for themselves and their world. Developmentally appropriate activities and materials guide the children into explorations in science, mature, music, literature, creative expression, dramatic play, and academic readiness.
- Chapel time each morning. (Bible story, singing praise and prayer)
- The daily schedule is planned to provide a balance of activities:
- Indoor/outdoor
- Quiet/active
- Individual/small group/large group
- Large muscle/small muscle
- Child initiated/teacher initiated
- Learning Centers - specific goals/skills to accomplish:
- Exploration in science, nature, music, literature, creative expression, dramatic play, and academic readiness.
- Multi-cultural and Anti-bias literature and activities.
- Learning through Christian oriented experiences.
- Unit themes acquaint the children with God's plan for them and their world.
- Field trips/Guest speakers.
